Cyberpunk Boots

This project's objective was to create a concept art based on an object I use regularly and modify it in order to fit into a Cyberpunk universe. I chose my favourite pair of boots and studied the different materials, shapes and textures composing them before jumping into the concept creation.
The design was inspired by the punk subculture, and how different fashion elements of this subculture may be represented in a Cyberpunk universe. To add to the boot's personality, details such as the paint and embroidery were added in order to represent the DIY (Do it yourself) mindset often seen in the punk scene. The goal was also to reflect the political ideologies of the wearer, hoping to share a small part of their story through their fashion choices.
